MAINTENANCE SERVICES
Maintenance involves checking and caring for a fire protection system so that it functions for as long as possible without needing to be repaired. Depending on the fire protection system.

Hydrant Valves
Hydrants should be inspected on a regular basis at least once a year. Dry-barrel fire hydrants may require two inspections per year, in the spring and fall. Every hydrant inspection should be documented, and problems with a hydrant should be reported immediately.
Hose Reels
Completely run out the fire hose from its reel. Check the fire hose and reel are in good condition. Check that all the couplings and joints are water tight. Check the spray nozzle can be opened and adjusted easily. Test water flow rate, static pressure and dynamic pressure.
Sprinkler Systems
Fire sprinkler systems contain many parts (control valves, storage tanks, piping) and the entire system is only as strong as its weakest point. Regular fire sprinkler servicing is crucial for ensuring fire safety and making sure that your premises meet building safety regulations
Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguishers should be inspected annually by a certified service company and pressure tested (a process called hydrostatic testing) after 12 years to ensure that the cylinder is safe to use. Consult your owner's manual, extinguisher label or the manufacturer to see when yours may need such testing.
Refill & Recharge on site
The cylinder is refilled with an extinguishing agent (carbon dioxide, dry chemical, wet chemical, water, etc.) as specified in the recharging instructions. The extinguisher is re-pressurized until the gauge indicates a full charge. A leak test is performed to check for any problems.
Maintenance of Fire Alarm System
An advanced fire alarm system can help detect and identify fires in their earliest stages. As a result, occupants will have more time to evacuate, and the fire is more likely to be stopped before it causes irreparable damage.
